FAQs

What is the weather like in Lake Tahoe in June?

June is a beautiful time in Lake Tahoe! You can expect day time temperatures in the mid to high 70s and evening temperatures in the 50s. Please bring a jacket or shawl as the temperature does drop at night.

Are the ceremony and reception in the same location?

Yes! The wedding ceremony and reception will be at Everline Resort.

When should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive and be seated by 3:45pm.

Where should I park for the ceremony and reception?

For those not staying at Everline or PlumpJack Inn, please park in the self parking area at Everline Resort. Afterwards, stop at the front desk and ask for a parking pass for the Andrews/Harrison wedding, which will allow you to park for free.

Will there be transportation from PlumpJack Inn to Everline Resort?

Yes, on June 28, we will have a shuttle available for transport to and from both locations. It will be running from 3pm until midnight. There will be continuous pickups throughout the reception.

Can we bring our kids?

Yes! Kids will be included in our wedding day celebrations.

Should I rent a car?

Yes, we highly recommend it! You will need a rental car to explore all that Lake Tahoe has to offer! For guests staying at Everline Resort, self parking is $25/day. For guests staying at PlumpJack, self parking is complimentary.

What should I wear?

Cocktail Attire for the ceremony & reception. Ladies, please be aware that the ceremony is held on grass - sandals, wedges, and block heels are recommended. A light jacket is recommended in the evening.

May I take photographs during the ceremony?

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographers will be capturing all the highlights, and we appreciate your understanding.

What is the difference between Palisades and Squaw Valley?

It's confusing! Palisades Tahoe is the new name of the ski mountain that used to be called Squaw Valley. The mountain and area are still often referred to as Squaw Valley, and some local spots still use the name Squaw. To make things even more confusing, the official name of the valley is "Olympic Valley" so you may see that on Google Maps. If you see Palisades, Squaw Valley, or Olympic Valley you're in roughly the right place!

Is Uber a good way to get around?

Uber is not as readily available as you might find in other cities. We would recommend a rental car for the weekend, and if you would like to arrange rides, we recommend making an advanced reservation. We recommend: Tahoe Elite, Tahoe Thunder Taxi, Tahoe Sierra Transportation.
